Join us for our next Lunch & Learn with AHCA about the Top 10 Deficiencies in the Senior Living Industry
Shantina was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and she has a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development. Shantina has been working and volunteering in the health care field since she was 13 years old.
In 2018, Shantina joined the Agency as a surveyor. She surveyed Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Family Care Homes, Adult Day Care Centers, Transitional Living Facilities, Residential Treatment Facilities, and Intermediate Care Facilities. From 2019-2024 Shantina was the ALF supervisor out of the Clearwater Office. Currently, Shantina is the State Training Coordinator. She has a beautiful daughter and enjoys traveling.
