Political Committee Campaign
The Florida Senior Living Association values responsible corporate governance and participates in the political process to formulate policies that benefit communities, staff, residents, and consumers in Florida. Our Political Committee, Florida Senior Living PC, is an essential tool to educate legislators and other key leaders in Florida about tough issues facing senior living communities and the many benefits brought to the state from senior living communities.
Our future depends on building and keeping a healthy and robust political committee. In 2022, due to redistricting, every Florida cabinet office was up for election along with 120 House and 40 Senate seats. FSLA constantly educates new legislators about our business and the annual economic impact that it brings to Florida’s economy.
The political committee strengthens relationships by raising and distributing campaign funds to candidates who will help advance the association’s advocacy agenda and support senior living issues of great concern and significant importance to the membership.
