FSLA’s ALF Online Core Training course, taught by Monica Wilson, is designed for prospective assisted living administrators and individuals interested in learning more about the daily operations of a community. The course provides students with pertinent information about the latest laws and rules governing assisted living communities in Florida. Our unique online training allows trainees to complete the core training education required in Chapter 429.52, F.S., at their convenience and prepares them to successfully pass the core exam administered by the MacDonald Research Institute (TMRI). The course includes downloadable course materials, module quizzes, test prep questions, mobile app access, and email support.
Additionally, the ALF Online Core Review Quizzes module is now available to help you successfully pass the core exam administered by the MacDonald Research Institute (TMRI). This compilation includes five (5) quizzes with hundreds of questions randomized from a large bank of test questions. You must complete the FSLA ALF Online Core Training Program before gaining access to the Review Quizzes. The Review Quizzes are not a substitute for the training, but a resource to help apply your knowledge and test your strengths and weaknesses in all content areas to be the most prepared for exam day. *pre-requisite: FSLA ALF Online Core Training Program
Pricing
This course also includes 26 hours of continuing education credits for licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants. Once completed, candidates should email FSLA with their license number for credit.

Access the ALF Online Core Training course on a computer or through the mobile app to train anywhere, any time. The mobile app allows you the flexibility to resume any courses started on a desktop, and you can download the course to complete when you are offline and sync it when you are back online.
You will have 60 days to complete the course.
The MacDonald Research Institute (TMRI) administers the ALF Core Competency Test for the State of Florida. Upon completion of the 26-hour ALF Core Training course, you will need to register with TMRI as soon as possible to sit for the ALF Core Competency Test. The fee for the exam is $200 and is payable to TMRI.
