Representing the Majority

A few years ago, Florida Senior Living Association (FSLA) set an ambitious goal: to become the majority voice for Florida’s largest providers of assisted living and memory care communities. We are thrilled to announce that we have not only reached - but surpassed - this goal!

FSLA has long been recognized by legislators and stakeholders as the primary, trusted voice for Florida’s assisted living industry. We now proudly represent a majority—more than 50%—of assisted living facilities with 17+ beds across the state. This milestone further strengthens our ability to speak with even greater authority on behalf of the industry and to more effectively shape policies that benefit providers and the communities we serve.

This is only the beginning. 

Looking ahead, FSLA’s next ambitious goal is to grow membership to represent the majority of ALL ALF beds across Florida. Achieving a true majority representation would establish majority rule for our industry, cementing FSLA’s reputation as the undisputed leading voice for senior living — and ensuring we remain squarely “in the room where it happens” when important decisions about our industry are made in Tallahassee.
